Temporary grant

It depends on your employment contract how long you'll receive student finance and how much.

Type of contract

Do you have an on-call contract or a zero hours contract? Then you will first be granted 6 months of student finance.

Do you short employment contract? Then you'll be granted at least 3 months of student finance.

To extend your student finance, you have to reapply for it. You have to upload supporting documents about the preceding months.
